CW41 Radio 41, San José 1360

I discovered nice signals from the La Plata area on my recording from April 25, 2012, and Radio 41 was the first new one I found. The next one was Radio Imparcial with a surprisinly strong signal on 1090 kHz for a few minutes.
Radio 41 replied with a brief email the same night. Thank you, Diego!

HJFO Red de los Andes, Manizales 1390

I heard this station on 1390,311 kHz early in the night on May 15, 2012. On their web there is an email address which does not work, so I contacted the company doing their web to ask for a valid address to the station. In this way I got an email from Nicole Calderón today, kindly confirming my reception.

ZYH889 Rádio Capital, São Luís MA 1180

Thanks to Henrik Klemetz and Jan-Erik Österholm for assistance on this one - I heard Rádio Capital on April 29, 2012, which was an even better night than May 2. Paulo Henrique Souza Moreira confirmed my reception, and told me that the voice I heard belongs to Jonas Mendes.

XESP Radio Noticias 1070, Guadalajara JL 1070

I was quite surprised to hear Radio Noticias 1070 on November 13, 2011, at the Smøla QTH. There was a nice ID at the top of the hour, like many Mexicans have.

ZYH661 Rádio Pitaguary, Maracanaú CE 1340

Rádio Pitaguary was a very nice catch on May 2, 2012. I received an email - not only in Portuguese but also in a Norwegian translation - confirming my reception. Nice!

ZYH709 Rádio Jovem Pan, Brasília DF 750

This was a March 23, 2003 reception. Verification received via email from Calil Bassit, thanks to contact information I got from Pakka Hakala. Thank you both!

ZY.... Rádio Restauração, Caruaru PE 1590

Thanks to the Germans finally closing down their terrible transmitter on 1593 kHz last winther it was possible for me to hear Rádio Restauração on May 2nd, 2012. A very nice email confirmed my reception, and they followed up by sending this logo and commenting on my blog later the same day.

CP107 Radio Yaguarí, Vallegrande 1440

Radio Yaguarí is the most common AM station from Bolivia here, and I have heard their signal on 1440 kHz a few times every summer since my first logging on July 19, 2010.
Late February this year I sent my third letter by air mail to Vallegrande, this time with a 5 USD note included. Still to my surprise I received an email, or actually three, from Maria Luisa Panozo Flores, Secretaria de la radio. She told me that the locutor I heard is named Lucio Arteaga Cabrera.
After my 34 years on the airwaves Radio Yaguarí is the second MW station from Bolivia I have heard.

ZYJ930 Rádio Educadora, Frei Paulo SE 1440

May 2 was the best night for hearing stations from the Nordeste for as long as I can remember, and I was both pleased and quite surprised to hear Rádio Educadora de Frei Paulo, Sergipe. An announcement for their web was good enough for identification.
Also found with a strong signal and clear ID on a recording from April 29, 2012.
