WMAC Macon GA 940

WKGM Smithfield VA 940

940 kHz became a goldmine when CINW left AM some time between 00 and 01 UTC on December 30, and just hours later WKGM was heard with a fair signal.
T.R. Bumgardner kindly confirmed my reception in an email today, and gave me QSL #10 from Virginia.

ZP9 Radio 9-70 AM, Asunción 970

JOFK NHK-1 Hiroshima 1071

After breakfast but still before lunch I received an email from NHK Hiroshima, with a confirmation in English of my January 5, 2010 reception of NHK-1 on 1071 kHz.
The station was heard with a fair to good “JOFK NHK Hiroshima Daiichi Hoso desu” identification at 10.00 UTC.
On April 10 I received a letter via air mail as well, with pretty much the same content as the email.

HIG Radio Popular, Santo Domingo 950

Radio Popular was heard on April 8, 2009, which was a nice day for signals from Dominican Republic. After you-don't-want-to-know how many reminders I finally received a confirmation from the station well before breakfast today. I got a very nice email from Nieves Corniel, including information about the station's new address:

Gustavo Mejia Ricart Num. 79, Ensanche Pianntini, Santo Domingo, República Dominicana

WLOA Farrell PA 1470

The final days of January were pretty good for hearing exciting signals from eastern North America, and on 1470 I was surprised by a signal from Classic Country WLOA.
Thanks a lot to John Kuty for confirming my reception!

JONB NHK-2 Nagano 1467

Today I received mail from NHK in Nagano in acknowledge of my October 18, 2006 reception of NHK-2 on 1467 kHz. This happened after my second follow up via their Contact Form. NHK Nagano apologized for not issuing verification cards, but I'm a QSL collector and not a post card collector so that doesn't matter at all :-)
