KUIK Hillsboro OR 1360
I phoned KUIK and had a nice conversation with John Oliver, who is the Program Director of the station.
I got his email address, and a few hours later John sent a confirmation back: "What you heard was our legal ID which we are required to play at the top of every hour by the F.C.C. I hope this confirms your reception. Also thank you for the interesting information you sent along."
KUIK was heard in Kongsfjord on October 24, 2009.

WBTX Broadway-Timberville-Harrisonburg VA 1470
Gospel stations in the AM band - I love them! It took some efforts to pick up WBTX, but 1 minute to 5 EST in the afternoon on December 9, 2009, I could hear a weather forecast and their signoff announcement. The guy I heard on the air and the guy who sent me a nice email with the requested confirmation was the same: Jim Snavely, Music & Program Director.
XEMR M-R Deportes, Monterrey 1140
I heard XEMR in Kongsfjord on 19 October, 2008 (KONG18), but neither two requests by air mail nor several requests by email gave me no QSL. Until I received an email today from Piedad Gonzalez Cabiedes, Ejecutiva de Cuenta, confirming my reception.
Thanks to Jari Korhonen (JJK) for crucial nformation on this one!

KANA Anaconda MT 580
Another phone call was made to Montana, and I spoke to Joe Frankland. I got his email address and sent my reception report right away, and after finishing his on-air shift he kindly replied to me: "That is definitely KANA. I'm surpised. KANA it not a high power station, and I can't tune it in with most normal radio tuners more than 30 miles from the transmitter." Mighty 580 was heard in Kongsfjord on November 19, 2009.
KBJA Sandy UT 1640
I made a phone call to Super Radio KBJA this afternoon to ask for a proper email address, and I had a very nice conversation with General Manager Christian Rivera.
He gave me his email address, and shortly after he sent a nice email back with a confirmation of my December 24, 2009 reception. KBJA made a very good signal into Kongsfjord that day. My QSL #20 from Utah and #900 from USA (incl. Alaska).

WNYM Hackensack NJ 970
Due to super dominant WZAN from Portland, Maine, it isn't easy to hear other stations from the US east coast on 970 AM. But WNYM has been a "schläger" this excellent season - at least it was heard on Smøla on November 17, 2009.
Second time I listened to my recording I heard an “AM 9-70 The Apple” identification in their local afternoon - at 4.30 EST. Today I received an email from Stuart Engelke confirming my reception: "That definitely was us you heard. Took me about 4 listens to get it but it was us." The next week I also got their QSL card by mail.

WSRF Fort Lauderdale FL 1580
Thanks to Rose-Philippe Coriolan, Operations Manager, for confirming my January 15, 2010 reception of WSRF - "First Haitian-owned and FCC licensed radio station in the nation". I had to call the station twice to get the email address information, and that certainly paid off.
Actually this was my QSL #40 from Florida!
