Lucchetti, Vicepresidente, confirming my September 24, 2009 reception of WPAB-550-Ponce.

This is hardly the most common

signal to hear from Puerto Rico, and

it was my QSL no. 30 from this country.

I considered CHQB 1280 AM a lost case because they closed down the AM transmitter a few years ago. But I had missed too many of those AM radio stations in British Columbia, and would like to make another shot spending more time with a recording from 2008 - from October 24th which was a great day for DX-ing North America. Hearing the announcements for "95.7 Sun FM" was a moment of happiness!
