When I heard CBC Radio 900 AM on February 21, 2012, the station had been on my most wanted list for about 30 years. I heard a male announcer saying “94.7 FM. This station let the greatest hits from yesteryear come alive”.
Today I received this email from Pearson Bowen, Programme Manager: "Acknowledging receipt and confirming that what you heard is in fact CBC 900am/94.7fm from Barbados, West Indies."

After I heard this station on January 13, 2011, they have changed name to KNEW. Thanks a lot to Alan Eisenson, Program Director, for confirming my reception.

On March 10, 2007, I heard a Brazilian station on 1410, with this ID:

"Rádio Voz do Cerrado AM, 1410 - a nova rádio de Brasília.
Em breve, você vai conhecer a rádio que tem música, informações, esporte.
Uma rádio completa, feita so' para você.
Aqui, AM 1410. Aguarde!"

The station was A Voz do Cerrado from Santo Antônio do Descoberto, Goiás, but I got no reply whatsoever after numerous air mail letters.

On July 9, 2011, I heard a station on 1410 with the ID “ZYH803 en 1410 .... Bandeirantes Brasilia ...”. This reception was immediately confirmed by Dickson Ferreira, and to my question he also confirmed that this is the same station as the station I heard in 2007.

WCRW surfaced with a tiny signal just in time for their signing off ceremony, under a much stronger WLIB on November 18, 2011. Both Miles Mead and Brian C. Edwards kindly confirmed my reception.
