HCHD2 Estación de Señal Horaria, Guayaquil 1510

Today I had to go to the local post office to pick up a letter from Guayaquil, which turned out to contain a QSL card, a personal letter and some info on Estación de Señal Horaria of Instituto Oceanográfico de la Armada (INOCAR). The letter was signed by Jorge Cárdenas Amores, Capitán de Fragata-EM, Director del Instituto Oceanográfico. What a nice and pleasant surprise!

La Voz de Jesucristo was heard on September 4, 2010, and was identified by help from Henrik Klemetz. Thanks to Henrik, and to Andrés Sucequia of Fundación Escuela Biblica Católica Yeshu'a who generously sent me an email to confirm my reception.

HJCZ Radio Recuerdos, Santafé de Bogotá 690

Radio Recuerdos isn't easy to pick up at the Norwegian west coast because of the huge & unclean signal from BBC on 693 kHz, but I heard them on September 23, 2007. With fresh info from Gert Nilsson I received an email from Hernando Galvis Caballero, Coordinador, confirming my reception in the nicest way.

WZNA Zona Romántica, Moca PR 1040

September 4, 2010 was a fantastic morning for DX-ing Latin America from Smøla - the hour between 04 and 05 UTC might be something for the history books! Mainly stations from Colombia and Ecuador were heard, but one of the new stations was WZNA Zona Romántica from Moca, Puerto Rico.

WTAB Tabor City NC 1370

A very nice email from Benny Miller gave my QSL #8 from North Carolina (the second on 1370) early this morning. This station was heard December 27, 2009, and I heard "WTAB, Tabor City ... AM 1370" fading up with a fair signal two minutes over the TOH.
