WPYR Baton Rouge LA 1380
Ever since my fantastic visit to New Orleans in May 1993 I have had some kind of weakness for AM stations from Lousiana. I was quite surprised to find WPYR becoming a regular a few nights mid January, but this is what's can happen during great conditions.
Yadira Hernandez, General Manager of La Fabulosa, was sorry about the delayed response, but she had been out for Mardi Gras. In my opinion that's the best possible excuse one can have :-) Thanks a lot for a great confirmation, Yadira! And thanks to Tuomo Ahonen for the contact information.

OAQ4Q Radio Alegría, Pucasana 1340
Thanks to great efforts by Henrik Klemetz, who found, phoned and emailed the owner of the station, both Tarmo Kontro, Bernt-Ivan Holmberg and I can celebrate a verification from Radio Alegría! I heard this station both on 7 and 13 February. Thanks for all your help, Henrik!

HCUM2 Radio Universal, Guayaquil 1270
My QSL #13 this week was a great one! Radio Universal gave a full ID the last 5 seconds of my 8-minute-long Perseus recording around 08z on 7 February. The signal was huge - and as I mentioned earlier this was a great day for DX'ing Peru and Ecuador. Hopefulle there are more QSLs to come ...

OBX4W Callao Super Radio, Lima 1400
This most wanted station was heard on the 250-meter-long antenna at Kalvøya, Smøla, during fantastic conditions to Peru on 7 February 2009. The signal was very nice, and I also have found Radio Libertad, Arequipa 1310 and Radio Alegría, Lima 1340 from the same day. And not to forget Radio Universal, Guayaquil 1270.
