Radio Martinique, Fort de France 1310
I received a very nice email last night, as a reply to my reception report sent via air mail five weeks ago. Désir Quiquely, Chef de fab. radio, confirms my 7 September 2007 (Smøla) reception of Radio Martinique 1310. The email also contains three mp3 and three jpg attachments - jingles and photos from the station.
This was a very nice email reply, and of course it was a new country (216) in my collection - the first this year.

YVQT Radio Carúpano, Carúpano 1110
After numeral reception reports to this station since the early 80'ies, I was quite surprised when I received an email this afternoon from Douglas Ramos Osío, Director at Radio Carúpano. A nice happening on a quite eventless day here at the KONG17 DXpedition.

CB127 Radio Festival, Viña del Mar 1270
A letter has arrived at the post office, waiting to be picked up when I'm back from KONG17. Expect this to be a QSL!
And yes indeed it was! A very nice and friendly letter, two stickers, a CD and - for the first time in years - a pennant!
I listened to the CD tonight (30 October), and it contained a recording of an on air programme about my reception report where they also played my recording of Radio Festival. Two really funny guys in studio that night :-)

ZYJ754 Rádio Guarujá, Florianópolis SC 1420
I never heard this station with no good quality on 5980 kHz, but I happened to pick them up on 1420 kHz early September at Smøla. The first of a number of nice emails from Carlos Alberto arrived today, and he has promised to send me a confirmation by mail as well.
31 October 2007 I received an A4 envelope from the station, containing a very nice letter with a confirmation of my reception, a separate QSL letter, a sticker, two post cards, a CD with a recording of a part of their programming incl. station identification, and also some other stuff.

HJNL La Cariñosa, Manizales 1450
Not much is like QSL on a Saturday (well, frankly I could mention a few things ...), and I just received a nice email from Jaime Sánchez, Director de las Emisoras de RCN en Manizales. He confimes my reception of HJNL La Cariñosa, Manizales 1450, which I heard among other nice LA stations on 1450 during my stay at Smøla four weeks ago. Also this was my QSL no. 50 from Latin America this year, so it was kind of a jubilee.

HJJZ Radio Manantial, Santafé de Bogotá 1310
During excellent conditions towards South America on 7 September, my latest DXped to Smøla, I suddenly could hear an announcement on 1310 kHz from an unknown station during a short fade in the huge signal from Radio Nacional de Venezuela. The station turned out to be Radio Manantial, after I sent a recording to Jan Alvestad who knew that Colorón Color Radio had become Radio Manantial. Thank you Jan, and a great thank you to Bibiana Amézquita for confirming my reception via email today.
ZYK779 Rádio 9 de Julho, São Paulo SP 1600
I sent a new reception report by air mail to Rádio 9 de Julho on 24 September, after I heard them on the island of Smøla early September. And already today I received a very nice email from Marcos Beltramin, confirming my reception!
Mid October I also received a very nice letter from the same gentleman, and also no less than 16 stickers and some other stuff.
